Comfy Clash Regional (First Round) Stand Up ContestNew York City’s largest standup comedy competition comes to the Hudson Valley! Since the inaugural competition in 2019, the Comfy Clash has grown into one of the nation’s premiere comedy contests. The 2025 competition featured 250+ comedians, with the top 10 competing in front of a sold-out audience at the historic Comic Strip in Manhattan for a cash prize, residency with Tight Pants Comedy, and the title of Comfy Clash Champion! The competition features three rounds of shows (first round, semifinals, and finals). Ranked-choice audience voting determines each show’s winners, who then advance to compete in the following round. For the first time, the 2026 Comfy Clash will feature regional qualifiers in the Hudson Valley (Rhino Comedy) and Philadelphia (Next in Line Comedy). The winner of each region will compete in the finals at the Comic Strip, alongside New York City’s funniest, for the Comfy Clash title!$10 Entry fee for comics - available through Comfy Clash.
